About Emalie
Emalie Novick, MA believes the foundation to successful therapy is the creation of a safe, open, and compassionate space for individuals to explore and grow. She works collaboratively with individuals to achieve a deeper understanding of themselves and to develop personalized solutions and skills that the individual feels best meets their needs and goals.
Emalie received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are looking for support in addressing issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, self-esteem, identity development, stress, relationships and adoption. Emalie welcomes individuals across a diverse array of culture, gender, and sexuality.
Emalie’s therapeutic approach can be described as person-centered, humanistic, and trauma-informed with elements of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
