What is Neuropsychological Testing?
Neuropsychological testing is used to diagnose attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, dyslexia, and other related conditions. Results from neuropsychological testing are often used to help guide treatment planning, which may include therapy, medication, school-based services, and lifestyle changes. Neuropsychological Testing at Endeavor
Dr. Matthew Goodnow and Dr. Melanie Almaguer offer neuropsychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults at our offices in Boston and Marblehead. Dr. Goodnow and Dr. Almaguer have extensive experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other issues. Dr. Goodnow and Dr. Almaguer frequently conduct evaluations for ADHD, autism, and dyslexia.
Dr. Goodnow sees patients ages 6 and over and utilizes a strength-based approach in his evaluations and often assists students (from elementary through graduate school) seeking services and/or accommodations at school. Dr. Almaguer conducts testing for ages 12 months and over and has experience with individuals across the lifespan with a variety of challenges including behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, and autism.
